Re: Victory Parade Details - Tomorrow 7pm
It was just a different world 43 years ago.

Looking at the video clips on YouTube there looked to be more fans at the parade in 1980 than there was yesterday but it was a lot more reserved.

Back then you didn’t have loud music being blasted over the tannoy with the players and fans bouncing up and down to it. Could you imagine Trev & Bonzo doing that while yelling West Ham are fucking massive on the mic!

More people more razzamatas. Just my perception.

''Absolutely manic in Stratford Broadway. I had the fortune to go to both the 75 and 80 victory parades but this beats both.''

Interesting. Why was this one better, I'm guessing because it was more reserved years back?

Re: Victory Parade Details - Tomorrow 7pm
looked good on the highlights - just a real shame they couldn't have waited until most get back from Prague. We had a pretty simple 2 hour layover in Dublin and still weren't back in time, and there's thousands coming back today and with much longer journeys than we had yesterday that missed out.
Still, Pablo's wedding likely got in the way of that,

I saw the start in Green street and then cut through the side streets to just before the Black lion.
Great scenes and let's hope we are doing it again in the not to distant future.

Wasn’t it nice to see Bobby Moore’s daughter on the stage with the players yesterday in Stratford.

Whoever invited her I thought that was a nice touch.

Absolutely manic in Stratford Broadway. I had the fortune to go to both the 75 and 80 victory parades but this beats both. Standing up penned in for 3 hours wasn't to good for my 73 year old body though. COYI.

This parade moves forward more slowly than our midfield.

Fucking Sullivan and his corporate dicks. Completely thrown Declan Rice under the bus and blatantly takes us fans for granted.

Couldn't the club have arranged for the players to come to the fan zone for a 10 minute show off of the trophy? I'm hearing scarves, hats and other memorabilia is being tossed out of the parade bus in Stratford. Nothing of the sort yesterday.
Almost feels we were punished for showing our loyalty and dedication to the club.

I hope Rice isn’t expected to make a speech after Sullivan just threw him under the (open top) bus.
